Denmark - Chair of NORDEFCO 2024
On the 1st of January 2024 Denmark took over the Chair of NORDFECO. Denmark’s Chair priorities include continued support for Ukraine, strong dialogue with Allies, an increased attention on the Arctic and the North Atlantic and revisiting NORDEFCO-structures.

The Nordic Chiefs of Defence and National Armament Directors met 20.8.2021 via VTC. Joint training efforts strengthen peacekeeping in Mali
A team of nine officers from Sweden and Finland is located in Timbuktu, Mali. The team is called “Nordic Defence Cooperation Mobile Training Team”, NORDEFCO MTT, and their mission is to train other nations’ forces that are part of the UN’s peacekeeping mission in Mali, MINUSMA.
