Cooperation Area Armaments gathered all Working Groups for an ARMA Symposium during the Nordic Defence Industry Seminar 2016 in Helsinki May 10th.

The Nordic Combat Uniform System Technical Arrangement was signed at a ceremony at the Nordic Defence Seminar 2016 in Helsinki May 10th.

It´s our pleasure to invite you to the 2016 edition of the Nordic conference for Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL). For the fourth time the conference will be a joint venture of the four Nordic countries Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. This time it will take place in Tuusula, Finland.

The Nordic ministers of defence met at Frederiksberg Palace and had a good and open dialogue on Nordic defence and security matters. Furthermore, the ministers strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Brussels on 22 March.

On 3 March 2016, the policy directors of the Nordic defence cooperation (NORDEFCO) met at Frederiksberg Castle in Copenhagen with the director of the Secretariat of Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), Ambassador Chanfi Issimail.

Theme of the biennial Nordic Defence Industry Seminar, held in Helsinki on 9-11 May was“Transatlantic link”.  The seminar had an interaction with Defence Industries of the Nordic nations and government representatives from Nordic nations as well as The United States and NATO. 

In 2016 Denmark will hold the chairmanship of the Nordic Defence Cooperation.

With the Nordic defence ministers' vision setting the political stage for Nordic armaments cooperation, COPA ARMA is driving at implementing the vision into practical aims.
