Cooperation Area Armaments gathered all Working Groups for an ARMA Symposium during the Nordic Defence Industry Seminar 2016 in Helsinki May 10th.

The aim of the symposium was to discuss and clarify the various subjects relating to the sphere of Nordic Armaments cooperation, e.g. common procurement models, templates for technical and program agreements etc. In addition, it was an opportunity for the WGs to meet and establish a working relationship in order to enhance future coordination and exchange identified challenges and lessons learned, as well as for COPA ARMA Management to receive useful WG updates.

The Symposium will be a model for future COPA ARMA WG coordination and status updating, colocating with the biennal NDIS arrangements.
